Had a good weekend. Stayed at Offut Resort for three nights. This was my second time fishing for more than an hour at a time. All fishing was from the dock. Saturday I landed one pretty good size cut throat 16". That's good for me. Fish per hour was not great. I started at 6:30 and stopped at 3:00. Got that unlucky fish at about 2:00. I was surprised I had fun for the entire 8 1/2 hours. The only time I wasn't having fun was when I was hungry waiting for my wife to feed me. It's hard to leave even when hungry, I was thinking one could get away. There were numerous others on the dock I saw some who limited out and others who couldn't cast five feet.

Sunday morning caught three. Kept one and let the other two live another day, I hope. Again, Sunday morning a couple guys were on their way to having their limit. Then their were the other 10 or so people who had none.

Bob and Becky at Offut Lake Resort are great. Already have a spot reserved for April 26 - 29. Good place for a happy 49th b-day. Looking forward to that weekend going to see Tanya Tucker and Crystal Gayle at the Little Creek.

Ok, time to get my poles ready for the next trip. Picked up some pointers from the people who caught fish.
