Today I was fishing by 10:50 am. I headed toward the Vet Hospital with intention of trolling back and forth in front of the North Launch. I was about 400 yards from the shore by a wing of the hospital when I got my first hit. Then it hit again. Wow, I thought surely it is there. But no, it was gone. I was using Dick Nite Pink Slatterback dodger and a lure I put together. I turned around and went back through again but didn’t get another hit. The sun was shining with some hazy clouds but the wind started to blow hard enough that I made my way to the island not getting to the North Launch. I only stayed 2 hours.
