I hear ya man...haven't ever caught anything out of there myself either. Thanks for reporting anyways. Friendlier fishing weather is just around the corner.

I tried yesterday (Wed) and should have just flown a kite instead. Tuesday I had a lot of hits but couldn't land a fish to save my life. That lake and I have a love hate relationship.

I have fished that lake a lot. When it is really windy the best side to fish is the west side of the lake. They do have some big boys in there. Last year my son and I trolled Ball. We hook at least a 2 l b. Brought it to the boat and my son grabed my line trying to net it and pop it went. That's ok we had a blast.Great little lake.

I was just stir crazy. Was going to go to Green Lake because you can fish anywhere with the wind, might try Sunday in AM if the weather reports are accurate with later rain in the afternoon, At least my (SPYDER) jacker kept me warm & dry!!

In between the wind and rain was a period where the fishing was very good. 5 people on shore and two in pontoon boats when I arrived. An older gentleman soon left telling me because of you no fish in lake... well I proved him wrong as I caught one. Shortly after that the other guy on the dock left and I had the whole thing to myself (now ain't I special). In the next 20 to 25 minutes I hooked into and played with 4 more fish. All fished hooked were either returned to the water with my help or fell off the hook just as I was about to release them. None at this time became Eagle food either... so all in all 5 known fish in the lake. The two pontooners and the 3 on the shore as well as myself abandoned the park when the next reign of the rain rained down on us all.

Gonefishing, were you bottom fishing or using lures? I will be riding my bike there as well as to Ech Lake when the weather allows,..

Fished off of the bottom with a 3 to 3.5ft leader.

Did that Saturday, C & R'd about 8" bow, just lipped it so easy release, 1 other hit and lost it.
