4/1/2012 8:39:00 PMHe came by about about 12:15. In a way, glad he showed up, doing his job, trying to catch people fishing illegally, which happened. Wished I went out later, weather cleared up, still early, but gotta scratch that itch!!

Years ago in my early Spring trout fishing days, a plainclothes Wildlife Agent (Game Warden) appeared out of the passing, walking crowd to ask, "How's fishing?"..."Not bad"...Badge flashed from under the coat..."OK, let's see your licenses." Both my wife and I thanked him for doing his job. I informed him of a smart ass poacher using set lines; who my Vietnam Vet duck hunting partner tossed into the lake for mouthing off.
