Arrived at Kapowsin Lake at about 8:15AM. Started out heading North to Ericson's. Dad and I were both rigged up with wedding rings tipped with nite crawler. He had a silver blade and I had a gold blade. Got our first hit halfway in between wdfw launch and Ericson's but Dad missed. I was too busy enjoying the sun and falling asleep to care whether we caught a limit or not. But, as the day progressed I ended up with 5 and Dad ended up with 3. To his credit, I did borrow his wedding ring to catch my 5 fish. We ended the day at about 1:45 and headed home. We unloaded the boat and cleaned fish quick enough for me to go down and hit some range balls at the driving range! Great weather and a great day!

To anyone who goes to this lake with a boat, please don't fire up the big motor and go screaming across this lake. There are stumps four feet in diameter just inches under the surface. I have seen my share of accidents on this lake due to ignorance/stupidity.
