Arrived at fish lake around 1115. The water was up about 5' from two days ago, after all the rain, and stained the color of chocolate milk. I don't ever have much success when the water is stained, but I figured I'd give it a go since it was such a nice day. I started trolling a pink wedding ring behind some pop gear and had 1 bite in the hour I was fishing that. I switched over to an olive woolly bugger with no success. I even tried bobber fishing for a while with nothing. There were 3 other boats out and I only saw one fish caught in the 3 hours I was out. The fishing should pick back up as soon as the water clears up.

I think I'm going to make the journey to Riffe tomorrow or the next day and try my hand at some landlocked silvers. If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it.
