Jason Owre and I Got to the public Launch at about 9a.m,.Air tenp from 50 to 66 degrees--Do not know correct water temp Sonar temp gauge was not working right-- Depth most fish found 4 to 5 ft. on some kind of drop-- one fish was caught on a sinko type plastic on the rocks and the other fish where caught on a barbless jig with crawfish plastic tralier in green shades of color. The fish where taking the bait on the bottom and moving off with the lure with out any feeling had to watch line movement. Around noon the wind had a slight breeze which placed the bass under the mats of last years cattails facing on the wind ward side of matted vegetation. Hooked into 6 fish could only land 3 between the two of us. Had a few on but Threw jig (Barbless) All fish were in the 2 to 3 pds range. Looked for the fish to be in the shallows but found fish feeding on out side edges of some type of vegetation close to shallow water. Remember this lake has angler restrictions and catch and release only. Fished susan lake too which is joined by a channel close to the public boat launch on Munn Lake.
