Met up with ilive2fish & went after some pre-spawn Largemouth. We had a decent day with 13 fish landed including (1) Brown trout that hit a Red Eye Shad, the others were all LMB. Most of the bass were 1 1/2 - 2 lbs with a couple dinks mixed in. Did manage to lose a nice Largemouth (3 -3 1/2 lbs) after trying to lift in the boat by my line. He had my jerk bait sideways in it's mouth & I wasn't looking forward to a handful of trebles attached to a flopping Bass. A few came on the jerk bait, a few on a crank, the rest on plastics; flukes, trick worms, & lizards. All in all we had a good day & I witnessed first hand just how picky Bass can get as to what soft plastic/color the will eat. I wanna thank ilive2fish for the outing & the Lizard workshop, we need to do it again.

Your welcome Bill, that was definately an interesting outing to say the least, and we still managed to boat some fish. Yes, we'll have to do it again at a different lake next time. Thanks for coming!

What colors on the plastics did the bass like for you all? Green pumpkin, blue/black?
