Went and fished from the walkway on the north side of the dam. Like most of the other reports I have read, easy limits of silvers to be had but all their guts are full of worms. I have read other reports that people are catch and release fishing until they decide to keep a limit. I believe the state freshwater rules state that released fish have to count towards your daily limit. Might want to check this out before you post catching 50 plus fish.

You forgot to add the "when fishing with bait" part of the reg. When NOT using bait you can catch and release as many fish as you want.

When folks say "their stomachs are full of worms" can you clarify if this means bait-worms or parasite-worms? I am not sure.

Most certainly have parasite worms in the gut cavity, but not in the muscle. The fish are fine to eat. It is just a little gross when you are cleaning them. The worms are not moving around, when I have cleaned the fish. There is usually a big mass of thin, long white worms in the gut cavity.

All of your comments are correct, when fishing with lures or flies you may release fish until retain a limit. The worms are parasitic and per WDFW, are safe to eat. If you are going to fish with lures or flies release all the fish you want. This means you can't use scent on the lure because once you do it is considered bait. When I was fishing not all the people seemed to know the regulations as well as those of you posting. Thanks for posting the clarifications.
