Ok, this is a second hand report, but one worth giving. An acquaintance of mine has been going to long lake, fishing up and down the lake from Tum Tum, and killing the large perch. He has been going off the lily pads, at the end of the weeds, and catching a 5 gallon bucket of 12" +/- perch at will from 10:00 AM to Noon. Word has it that when you bring in one it a 100 small ones follow it to the boat. Good news, the perch will be there for a while, bad news, a chance to overpopulate soon. Take a kid, your wife, your friend, your friends wife, their kids, your neighbors, whomever you can get and go catch some big perch while you can.

Oh, and did I mention how good a perch taste.

Good fishing and do not practice catch and release on perch!
