Hit the lake @ 7:30 am under partly sunny skies. My son caught his first fish about 1 pound on a worm he hand poured last night. I wish I had it because I couldn't begin to describe the color. Lol but needless to say he told me last night he was gonna catch one on it. Meanwhile I am throwing cranks and tubes and hula grubs and nothing. So we found some rip rap and I hook up on a craw crank. My fish was the same size as the crank and my son is just making fun of me at this point. So I run to this point that I catch fish on every time I am there. Grab the drop shot and whack 1.04 a 1.13 and a 3.2 on consecutive cast. Kid wasn't making fun of dad anymore. Lol hit another point on our way out and caught another 1.04. My son caught 2 more 1.2 and 1.4 right before we left. Fun time with a little father son competition. Off the water by 1:30. American lake tomorrow.
