Fished this morning from 10am-2:30pm, and was happy with the day there. Caught 15 bass. Half though around only 10 inches! Blah. But the other fish were in the 2 pound range (smallies) This was my first trip to Long, since moving from Louisiana last summer.. I caught the majority of my fish on plastics, mostly lizards. The bite was steady, even though a bunch of little fish, but with smallies still fun. The technique I used for the bigger bites are a LA trick, not yet for me to share. But it made a difference. Still have a lot of lake to fish as I only fished about a 1/2 mile stretch! watermelon/chartreuse and silver flake seemed to be a good color! Good Luck! As we say in Louisiana! Catch a Hammer!!!!
