The lake was crowded, for the time. Luckily, though everybody there was really nice. Now my dad started out using one green, one white and one pink poweregg on the same hook. I noticed all the little schools of bluegill and saw some bass, so i tried using a roboworm. Sadly, it did not work. My dad however got a good fish on, it was pulling out his drag, and he was only using 6 pound line and 4 pound liter. When it about looked like I was going to net it, it pulled his drag out and did another run. We got it in though, it was 15 and 3/4" long and 2 pounds. I switched back to the trout setup for a bit but that still didn't work. Tried bobber fishing with a worm for bluegill and perch. Caught about a dozen bluegill, mainly small, caught one that was 7", personal record. A guy told me there were some people hand-lining and catching like 15 perch, found that cool. Also saw a little girl catch her first fish, and when her dad said "lets kill it now" she goes over and and swings her pole with the fish and everything on it and hits it against a stump. It cracked me up. A great day, nice people and good fishing.
