Samish is getting off to a good start. The fish are finally biting, and are very large for this early. My fish today were 12-14 inches with one being 16.3 inches and 1.49 pounds, thats GIANT for April! Caught fish shallow, around 20 feet on dodgers and corn/night crawlers. afternoon bite was kinda slow compared to morning bite, but fish were still around and i got lucky with the one big one.

Wow! That is a nice Koke for sure. The pliers really put it in prospective.

We are noticing much larger Kokes on American Lake too. Everyone fish has been between 15 and 17 which is what they were at the end of the year last year, should be real fun around November!

Yea baby, a 20 inch average in the late fall might even pull me away from salmon a few times! Cant wait!!
