Man field testing My new lure designs is a blast! I hooked up with my mentor and fishing legend Joe Schmidt of Yakima, aka FishinChritian to put my new DamZel Nymph baits to the test. I was A little perplexed at the lack of bass there on my last report, so Joe and I hit Evergreen resevoir in search of big pre spawn largemouth and near the end of the day, Joe and I found some pigs to hook into! First we stopped at little H lake and found the small bass and bluegill biting pretty well. I used My smoke Fliptail Crappie Nymph micro jig while Joe drifted around in his pontoon boat using a Cajun colored Damzel Nymph I gave him. He caught bass after bass with it in his pontoon boat. He handed me back a barely recognizable, totally chewed up Nymph. He smiled and said" I think these things work Jiggy!" Lol We went up the road to Evergreen, and Joe proceeded to probe the West end shoreline for Largemouth Bass using a new Damzel Nymph and he found the Largemouth big time! In a span of barely 20 minutes, Joe caught 5 largies from 17 to 22" all on my Cajun Green Damzel Nymph jig (with a pearl belly.)He was even nice nice enough to row over and free my Largest Bass of the day that had taken my line into a bunch of Limbs near the bank. Thanks again Joe for a great day on the water! Your brother, Jiggy

Nice fish, what did the big one weigh? Yes i am excited too for my package to show up in the mail. I have sent you out my order. Do you swim your jigs, jig them, what kind of retrieve are you using, like how deep. I am new to the jigs if you can not tell. Once again, great report.

Thanks, Rocky! One whole trip with no fish really shakes the confidence.... We both have fished Red Rock extensively, but Jiggy was on the lake last. My last trip was last year, and I did fair, even having a leftover Tiger Muskie.

BD: She was 22" and reallllllly ready to spawn, but I didn't have a scale, and I've made the mistake of estimating in here before, so... She was nice, esp on ultralight. Jiggy can answer the overall retrieve better, but it was ultraslow and on the bottom in various depths, most on rockfaces yesterday for the bass. It varies, like with any plastic, esp the small ones.

Ok, I'll bite....... LOL Where do I look for the particulars on the jigs? How much for some sort of sample packet of your favorites? Thanks Jiggy, You're catching like crazy and I'm wanting a piece of the action too.... LOL

If your looking for a piece of the action then all you need is green, for the right amount of money Jiggy will make you jigs, take you out to lakes only few people see and show you how to catch fish, and if you don't do well, then, again for the right amount he will sell you some. Thanks Jiggy your a beast!!!
