got to blackmans at about 11:00am. i started off using hook and worm, trying a light presentation for trout near the docks, no luck for trout with that set up, but i did catch 3 perch and a tiny bluegill. after no success for trout with the worm, i switched to powerbait. i got lots of hits, but i couldn't get the first few takers to commit, and they proceeded to rob my bait. after 30 or so minutes of missing hits or getting robbed i finally got one, then 1 minute later i got another, then a hit and a miss, then the bite slowed down. a few more bites after the 2 that i landed, then i went home. was a nice afternoon at blackmans, the fishing was kinda mediocre but cant complain too much.
