Went Muskie fishin on Silver lake today with Doug W. Couldn't have asked for better weather, but the fishing could have been better. Passed a Bass fisherman who wasn't having much luck and as we crossed paths the bass fisherman landed a small Tiger about the same time Doug landed a 2lb LMB. Figures. Doug did get a follow from a sub 30 Tiger but couldn't convince her to hit. At the end of the day we decided to hit a spot we rose a mid 30 from the depths last week. It only took a couple minutes with the same lure but she came back again! I didn't mess up the figure 8 this time and hooked her on the first turn. A nice little fight ensued and we ended up with a decent 34" Tiger to end the day on.

I think the Muskie bite will be picking up soon, but there are some Pike just begging to be caught next week!
