hit tho boz today, early, and could not interest anything to bite, from senko's to lizards, to shaky head strait tails, to tubes, to jigs, to topwater sammy's,to roboworms, nothin! but , get this, they are on beds already! a few anyway, figure they just started, water temp was 58.7 when i got there, 5:00 a.m., but well into the 60's when i left, 2:00 p.m.. I usually leave the spawners alone, figure that there are enough fish to be caught without bothering them, but had my daughter with me, and just had to put a couple in the boat during our last hour on the water. tried several different color lizards over beds with no luck, then tried a white strike king flippin tube, and fish on!! I think my ability to actually see the bait, and watch it dissappear in fishes mouth helped me greatly! Was kinda cool to see fish inhale bait and spit it out off nest without feeling a thing. Figured out when bait is gone to set the hook, and caught 2 fish. Was a nice day to be on the water,, gl all and c & r!!

Oh, bed i was fishing actually had 3 fish on it for several minutes, thought that was kind of odd
