My buddy and I took my two girls, Bailey and Skylar to fish for trout on opening day. We arrived just before daybreak and launched the sled, it was raining cats and dogs and never let up all day.
We managed to catch about 12 trout before calling it an early day at around 10:30 pm.
The fishing for most was kinda slow, but there were some real nice trout caught. The biggest that we caught was 18 inches long, it was caught by my littlest daughter, just turned four.....it was quite the battle, and of course it got wrapped around the anchor rope, but we got it free. We caught several others that were about 15 or 16 inches long and the rest were normal planter size.
The girls and Daddy had fun, I plan on going back on Wednesday, because the pressure was so light. I will post a report again after the trip.
