I had the pleasure of taking a friend that hadn't fished in over a decade out to walker on Friday. He wanted to get some practice in so he could show his son's some things when he took them to the Black Lake kids fishing day on Saturday (they got 3 trout).

We got to the lake a little before 1100, talked with the guys fishing there who said it had been slow. I cast my usual set up of bobber with worm out and while I was rigging up my friends pole, bobber down and fish in. The fishing was a little slower than it had been, but it was consistent with both of us getting our limit of stocker 'bows by 1500.

From there it was off to my house to give him a lesson on fish cleaning. He did pretty good at filleting for his first time with only one minor finger cut.
