My wife and I are here in Seattle for a few days to visit our first grandchild, Calder. We are avid stillwater float tubers so for the past two mornings we have been going to Green Lake and it has been a load of fun! Today was our best day as we each caught many 10 -12" planters and we each also caught a nicer sized Rainbow of about 17". A black woolybugger was the most consistent fly but streamers were also productive from time to time. My wife caught the biggest fish, a 10 lb. carp.
It was a new experience for us to fish in such an urban setting but we enjoyed the combination of fishing and people watching. A very nice park with lots of people doing there thing around and around the lake.

She caught it on a black woolybugger from a float tube just to the right (as seen from the water) of that little island. Sorry I'm not very familiar with the lake.
