I took my daughter out and we had a great time on the lake, we caught a ton of fish today. Everyone on the lake was doing really well and everybody was in a good mood. Had the weather cooperated a little better it would have been perfect. The wind would kick up and catch the canoe which can become harrowing. This lake was stocked well for its size, most of what we caught was between 10 and 14 inches, I had a really nice one right up to the boat and lost it when I was getting the net under it, this one had to be a hold over, it wasn't stocked with anything large. My daughter caught a small bass and I got a tiny little bull head the rest were rainbows. Every part of the lake was productive, we caught them in every corner, through the middle, and around the island. We've had very good days on this lake before and it is one that is open year round so it has kind of become my standby lake when I am not dieing to go anywhere else.

Wow that great report from Island lake in the past haven't seen much in the way of trout but does have a lot of bass.
