I was bank fishing with real worms jetted with air an fishing just off the
bottom, I decided to check my bait after a few missed strikes, my buddy said
you probably don't have any bait left ... as I got about half way in the pole jerked an out of the water leaped a 7lb trout {they put a few of these in the lake every year} well I reeled an
reeled as it got closer to shore the tip of my light weight pole bent past the handle were I was
holding it ! I shouted panicky to my friend to help pull it in , by the sound of his voice
I turned to see what happen to him . He was already half way back to the truck shouting {you're poles going to break !} and that he didn't wana get hit by it. well after seeing the fish up close an knowing I couldn't pull it in myself I slacked the line an the fish was off to excite someone else's day.
