on the water about 6:30am with my bud Troy.today was the first time he and I have really fished together.he's a traditional worm on the bottom lots of lead not much thought into it guy' while I'm more of an artifical lure casting all day to every sweet nook and crannie developing patterns guy.so obviously two completely different styles.after ten hour of fishing the totals were in .troy refused to even try a jig and stayed true to his worms,he caught 2 smaller perch about 20 bluegill (most were small)and 1 pounder catfish.as for me I managed 13 crappie 9-12" like 8 good little slab gills ,and 2 smb at 3.5# and 2#.probably well over 100 fish to the boat today!!!and its only going to get better over the next month.

any suggestions on freezing them or fish period.vacume packers are expensive and in my experience dont work that well .someone told to fill freezer bags with fish and water to eliminate air/freezerburn?
