Had a wonderful morning out with my son for Father's Day weekend fishing. Hit the water about 730am and went right to our spot. Within about 10 casts my son hooked into a monster!! I didn't really believe he had one on because he sometimes "cries wolf" but I saw it flash and dropped my pole to make sure we got it landed. It ended up being 20.5 inches long and just a couple ounces inder 4lbs. We were both so excited. Just about 20 min later he landed another big smallie at 17in. Dad was able to make himself look not so bad by landing a 19in fat smallie. Overall I landed 7 SMB and my son landed 3 SMB and a random perch. Thanks to the wonderful lady who saw us catch the big one of the day and snapped a pic. Great memories!! All fish caugth on tubes in colors resembling crawfish. Fish seemed pretty aggressive today.
