Went out to riffe for the day pretty crowded but we found a place on the rocks buy the dam off hwy 12 fishing was pretty slow when we arrived at about 11:00 started using shrimp with a little garlic oil fish attractant but that did not seem to do the trick started at about 20 feet deep no bites .... brought it up to 10 still nothing .. brought it up to 6 feet and started getting bites switched my bate to just fresh shrimp and corn and started getting alot more bites

overall we caught 6 only 3 were take home size but no0w we know the bait and depth for next time

The water is up now too so they tend to be biting a little better than last month and there is a log boom out section off the dam corner so there is not as much debris

another high point of the day was watching a eagle swoop in and catch a fish from a few hundred feet in front of us
