we went out friday morning before the rain set in. we were on the water at 7:15. we started off trolling for trout with a red wedding ring. we were trolling between the island and shore, and i ended up catching 3 fish there. 1 smallmouth bass, 1 crappie, and 1 perch. first time ever catching any of those on a wedding ring!! all dinks except for the bass, prolly 1.5 lbs. no more bites till we got to the south end of the lake where i cought another perch and crappie. got tired of trolling so i tied on a football head/ hula grub, with some garlic scent on it. cast into the lillys and got a strong bite on the fall, but missed it. no more bites afterthat. my dad also missed one a little later on while using a senko. also in the lillys around 15ft. water was very warm, upper 60's
hit it again on a nicer day and try for some better luck.
