Wow. Just WOW! Got on the lake at roughly 8AM, and a fisherman told me and my dad there was catfish in there, and that surprised me. About half an hour in, we got a baby catfish about 3 or 4 inches long, and threw him back. About every 5 minutes my dad would get a bite, and that lead to 3 12inch rainbows. We were about to quit, but just after I got the biggest bite of my life! The average for that lake's fish is about 11 inches and 3/4 pound. The fish i caught was 18 inches and 3 1/2 pounds! I love that lake now!

cool report JJ - is this the lake off 522 near Maltby and Monroe? I wonder if they stocked it recently? My son and I hit it in June and got no action. Remember that 18 incher for ever.

Yeah that's the lake. They stocked it in April with 8 inchers, but most are already 10+ inches. Try trolling with small spoons, the big fish in there think they are small fish, that's how I caught mine. There is way bigger fish in there than the one I caught, probably one that is 30+ inches! They will hit if you go in the morning!
