Hit bitter just after 0600, in the tube. It was quite windy, and kind of unrealistic I thought, to fish. Worked my way down the N. shoreline. Started off with a white spinner bait. No luck there. Went to the wacky rigged green Senko. Tossed it into some dispersed lilly pads. Had a hard it on the fall. Set the hook, and thought the fish might wrap up in the lillies, but he did not. Got the fish to the tube and proceeded to try and manage the rod, the fish, and start up my stupid phone. My camera wasn't available this morning, Uhg! Got all things operational, snapped a quick fish. Put him on the scale, 3lb 8 oz. I was pleasantly happy!
Worked around the lake, and caught another much smaller fish on the West end. Trying to get pics. from my phone to the computer.... kind of new to this. Doesn't want to go via email. Found another way,, we'll see if it works.

Nice Fish. I've never fished Bitter before. Might have to give a go as I have a buddy that just got his license and is right in the area.

Thanks guys! The issue with the pics. was only ignancy on my part. I didn't know how to get pics. from my smartphone to my computer. Figured it out in the end.
On other news... does anyone have a local lake that they CONSTANTLY fish due to proximity, and you have come to the point being actually sick of fishing the lake? This is my story on Bitter. I swear that I have exact spots within in 10" where I throw my gear each time... time and time again. Other spots I won't even blink at. I need to find another convient lake to give my time to. Too bad I don't care much for Haller.

Great job, quad! I think your scale is cheating you. She looks well over 4 lbs.

Another big Bitter Lake Bass in the belly boat. I am not sure how you get tired of that. Getting to know your home water, as you have, does have its 3-4lb perks. How did this bass battle compare to the last Bitter Lake Bass?

Yup, I get very tired of Sawyer every year. Spend 57 to 77 days on the same lake over the past few years ya get tired of it and don't even feel like trying different spots or new/old lures.

Well done Quadfather! No, can't say I've grown tired of Bitter or even Haller Lake yet. Then again, I don't have the years of experience fishing on them as you do. I think switching between bass fishing and trolling for trout mixes things up enough to keep things interesting for me. I think Pat and I even caught a couple of small bass trolling wedding rings and another friend of mine caught a trout on a spinnerbait! :D
