What a beautiful sunrise on an early morning of unsettled weather! Grandpa Loidhamer brought out grandson Mason (9) and Nick for Mason to get some fish. Mason was a cool enough angler to let Nick get the big fish, an 11lb 8 oz 'er. Mason got the biggest fish of his life, an 8lb 11oz laker. Grandpa got the weirdest fish, a laker with both scoliosis and kyphosis (sp). What a terrific morning. Then the Klaveano's of Pullman and Pomeroy came out at the crack of 11 for some mid day work. The weather stayed moderate and the fish kept biting. Another day in paradise! On both trips we mostly fished a raised hump below Wapato Pt. Flatfish and baited squid rigs caught the fish.
