Started out around 6am fished the banks for awhile looking for the elusive brown no luck. Started trolling around 730 2 fish in the boat by 8am (2.1lbs&2.3lbs)nice holdover rainbows. Saw Mr. Blue Heron catch 3 bass. The third one was a little to big for him he tried for awhile to choke it down and failed so he gave up and flew off in disgust. but my 2 partners and I decided that if he can catch a bass then why cant we. well the proof is in the pudding. I don't know what he was using for bait but I want a fly tied with illegal blue heron feathers (Just Kidding). Any way we Quit talking about how slow the trout was since the 2 we caught were bang bang then nothing forever. So after Mr. bass yeah right big skunkola there. We had a few mins. before it was time to head home 1pm and so we worked the banks and right in the middle of a joke the three of us about falling out of the boat Ceaser got a hit set the hook out of the water comes his bait and right behind it one of the biggest browns I have ever seen.
