Let me start off by saying something good is happening with the perch population. On Sat I probably caught 100 yellow perch with 16 being in excess of 12 inches, there were a lot of dinks. The only other time I saw perch this size was in lake Washington. The largest was almost 15 in.I m still a little blown away. The only trick is to cover lots of water cause you may not find the jumbos right away, but when you do find them its pretty easy to stay on them,.Take lots of bait.

Any idea on depth or if you'd be kind enough to mention which end of lake? I have a float tube. Been waiting for a perch report on a local lake. Don't even have my fishing license yet LOL (UGH). Family and work is great but a breather to go out fishing and bring back a load of perch for the Mrs would be awesome. Maybe even get another float tube, waders for daughter and have her go too :-). Thanx for the report and good luck.

Darn, starting to look like a flyby report? Ah well. If you may enlighten me with any further accurate info, it'd be appreciated ;-) Good luck.
