Was rowing on the lake by 4pm. Hooked three 12"(appx.) LM within the first two hours, (near the closer end of the lake) all of which decided to get rid of the bait before i could bring em' up. Was a bummer.

Slowly trolled up the side casting near docks with no success. Did that until the island area and decided to test our luck jiggin'. White jighead with a worm, lots of nibbles but neither of us could set.

Around dark my girlfriend brings in this niice laarge mouth. 15.5" 2.1 pounds.

15 minutes later I hook into something heavy, for a brief moment I thought maybe i hooked a racoon or a ..snipe. Nope it's fish on, i'm tryin to pull it in but he's bringin' the boat towards him. We get over the top of some thick weeds thinkin' "dangit he tangled the line in the weeds and left me in the dust" .

Nope, scooped this nice buggar up 17" 2.1 pounds.
