8/28/2012 4:16:00 AMSometimes the fish, bass or other species, just dont cooperate. That's why it's called fishing and not catching, lol. Anyway, your time will come. If you haven't already, try the drop shot. That too might also fail, but moré of than not it usually pulls my fat out of the fire to not go home skunked. Lastly, you could also try the other side - that's the side I fish 99.9% of the time.

8/28/2012 10:40:00 AMAnd try right at sunset too. I fished in the evening recently, and nothing happened until the sun went down, and all the rock bass started coming out to feed.

8/29/2012 12:13:00 PMIn that area I've been getting smb's with a split shot rig with 1/2 zoom trick worm. Noticably fewer hits in the last week. The harvest fisher persons have been getting 2inch perch, so I'd think a perch pattern Rapala might get some action @ dawn/dusk.
