There were no more than four boats at any time all morning! Had the lake almost to myself. Started out hooking up with the little 6-7" corn stealers that get lip-hooked and shake loose at the boat. Pulled my first koke (12") at 0930 and another 12" at 1130. Metered most fish between 30 and 45ft in 60' to 85' of water. Tried every dodger I had and ended up catching with a wonder bread. A pink wiggle hoochie worked well til 0830, then an orange/purple hoochie was popular. Toni's recommendation for "garlic, garlic, garlic" was right on. None of my other scented shoepeg had any takers.

A guy in a rubber raft pulled up next to me and wanted to know where the rainbows were. While pointing him to a cove known to produce RB, I heard splashing and looked over to see the dodger I had on my DR at 40' was jumping around at the surface with a kokanee attached! Never heard the clip pop. Other than that, it was a slow day, but the hi pressure isn't completely over us. It should be better in a couple more days. Two kokanee on Clear Lake beats a skunk yesterday on American.
