Went to flowing with a buddy to see how the fall bass bite was. Used top water frogs and got lots of hits from small bass in the pads. Hit the docks with senkos and got no hits. Then busted out my favorite lure the top water pop-R and was reeling in the small bass like Roland Martin reels in the big ones in the south!. Then when we where ready to leave we fished out of the public launch area with pop-R's and got a couple more small bass. VERY small bass. All in all it was fun and I didn't get skunked! Saw another bass angler and he said he fished from noon to 5pm and landed about 20 small bass on spinner baits. I know there are some lunkers in this lake but I think there deep or too smart to fall for our lures we throw at them. I'am trying to get in as much bass fishing as I can before the really cold weather hits. Will be back! Gonna hit Roesiger tomorrow! All bass C&R like always.
