I always thought this lake was called lake tye but anyway,
this lake has some really nice fish in it. This lake gets
stocked with bows up to 10 pounds and I have even talked to
people who have caught them up to 13pounds. Other types of
fish include pumpkinseed sunfish and bass. If you fish with
worms you can catch a whole truck load of them pumpkinseeds
with good sizes from 6-8inches, and the best place to
catch them is on the opposite side of the road but you can
catch them all over. All the bass your gonna catch
are only 4-6inches,but i have heard them being caught up to
4 pounds, and you can catch them on worms as well. Trout your
your best of trolling with a spinner of some sort. the best
kind is the 1/16 ounce rainbow colored one. or a wedding ring.
troll close to the boat launch side. the other side has too many
weeds. the weeds are all over but the worst is on the far end
of the lake. This fun little man-made lake next to the business
park part of Monroe is cartopper access only. with internal combustion motors prohibited.
