Went back for round 2, This time it was raining and I didn't get down to the lake as early. Fishing was hot when i got there caught a small brown right off the bat. Kept hooking up and loosing fish within 5 seconds(dang barb-less-hook). My little Brother caught in a smaller sized brown but it fell of the hook right at shore. About 45 mins into fishing I hook into a huge fish, fight it for a while until it shakes off. Got it close enough to catch a glimpse and know it was a lunker. I got frustrated and gave it a break and walked down to see how this other fisherman was doing, Turns out he wasn't having any luck either. MY brother came down soon later having no luck other than missing fish. we fish together for a good few hours with no luck just bites and missing fish. Its still raining and we are cold, wet, and about to go home. As im reeling in, not paying attention, just staring at the ground so i don't get rain in my face Bam! I get a nice take this time a good hook set as well and this was the result. A Very nice rainbow if i must say. (not trying to brag) you know how fishing stories are. Soon after my brother lands a nice rainbow, and soon after that the guy we were fishing next to lands a nice rainbow. Im glad i waited in the rain this time, had a good day and the last chance to fish Medical this year.
