Got off at 7 this morning,and its not raining and the sun was peeking out,so decided to hit ballinger for a couple hours before heading home,was amaze on how high the water was,i wanted to take picture of but cell out of batt. The water was hight that it almost leveled the dock.thats the first time i saw the lake that hight,it was so clear no wind and the lake was so calm,even the lilies are covered with water,but since i was there already just went a head and get my line wet,didnt expect anything,but got 3 hits but no hook up with trout,an hour later switch to wacky set up for bass and cast it over the water covered lily pads and few cast later bam fished on didt expect that at all,got a bass not big but make the whole trip satisfyin,few more cast with nothing then called it a day.
