12/2/2012 1:02:00 PMSwitch to walleye and panfish this time of year. The schools tend to scatter fairly deep, but when you hit the school, it's usually pretty good. There are some big perch in there. Used to be some good crappie fishing, but not so many in recent years, for me anyway. I haven't fished that lake much in the fall recently because I found I needed to fish it several times in a row to get a good feel for the pattern, and at the price of gas "in this economy"... Ever notice how much that phrase is used now? Anyway, I'd fish for walleye in that lake now. In your area, I'd hit the Columbia till I got the patterns, especially around McNary. My 2/10's of a cent worth (inflation).
