Hit the lake again today with Tesla. I had to redeem myself from yesterday's outing of his two big cutties to my 15" one I released. We marked a lot of bait in the same area we fished the day before. Tesla's rod started to thump about thirty minutes into being on the water. I rattle Rapala produced a nice 18" cutty that he released. We trolled Brad's cut plugs for the next couple of hours with no luck. I switched over to a Firetiger needlefish tipped with a worm. My rod bent over and peeled some line off the drag. Got her to jump a couple of times and into the boat. Great fish to end the day - 20.75" cutty.

I should also note that before fileting this fish, she coughed up two large longfin smelt. I believe that's explains the large amounts of bait in the area. Larger bait presentations have been producing larger fish. She was all spawned out (less a couple of mature eggs inside her) and ready to eat. A 3 inch black rubber worm was also found in her stomach. That's a first.
