Hit upper Twin at 1:00. Fish my normal spot 200 yards out from launch in 17.4 FOW. About 8 groups of fisherman on upper and 10-15 groups fishing lower. I would love to read a report on what they were catching and if perch, how big. The action was nonstop from 1-3 fishing multiple poles caught at least 50 by myself in 2 hours. Kept 11 perch with the biggest 9 inches. Used glow jig, blood worm jig and a heavier jig all with sweetish pimples flashers as weight about 6 inches up from the jig. Tipped each with a perch eye. Perch hit most jigs right after you hit the bottom. You had to keep the jigs moving to get a bite. Ice was 6 inches solid with 2 inches of frozen snow/ice on top of the 6 inches. It was slick and cleats are a must. I only saw one fisherman with tip ups and he did not have a hit all day. A great day of fishing. Perch were on the small side today.
