On the lake at dark this time and waited for the sun to start peeking up. Right out of the cove i dropped a Pink splatter back dick nite dodger and a rocky mountian pink spinner hoochie down to 10 feet in 40 feet of water. As I'm setting my other pole it came unclipped. first thought "didnt clip it deep enough" then the pole went nuts! Fiesty little 12" koke. Awesome start to the morning. With both poles set, one @10' and one @20' i worked the 40-50 foot line outside of the cove. at about 8am I got another small koke on the pink hoochie again, and about 830 i got another very small koke on a pink/blue bead spinner. Then nothing. Marking lots of fish between 10-30 feet. Think the sun got them all excited today. Not a bad morning for the cold months. at about 10:15 my sonar popped the damn fuse and im not one for wanting to hang a downriger ball so i called it a day. Sonar is fixed and i got nothing to do tomorrow so expect another report! tight lines!
