Decided to go to Green Lake this morning since in the last two weeks the WDFG has planted over 17,000 Trout and 400 Trips I might have a good chance of catching a fish or two. Well two and a half hours later and not even a nibble I headed home. Used three different colors of power eggs in that time and nothing seemed to help.

I did see a large flock of about 25 to 30 Cormorants come by chasing what I have to think was a large school of fish as they were all diving at different times. They chased them into shallow water then they all turned and headed out towards the middle of the lake. This might of had something to do with the bite being off this morning.

I still got to see a beautiful pink sunrise and all the action that happens around Green Lake and a nice day on the water.

I had some decent luck with spinners/lures, also powerbait/egg. Fish should be on top for another week, then they will disperse. Good luck,...
