Last Tuesday was hot! More than one way. My two grandson's and I arrived at the lake around 9:00am and trolled toward the north end of the lake without a hit. So we dropped anchor at about 30 feet.
Using 2 lb test leader, a no.8 hook and Rainbow power bait, the first fish that bit was a 27 1/2 inch, 7 lb rainbow. A total of 10 fish ranging from 6 inches were caught that day along with a nice sunburn. The fish was weighed at the Mineral Lake Resort.
The grandson's can't wait to get back to Mineral Lake for a chance at another lunker.
