It was the kind of day us Fair-Weather-Fishermen dream about...almost. The weather was great, mid-60s, beautiful sunshine, no wind and lots of room on the lake. But the fish weren’t as cooperative as they could have been.
My buddy caught 1 fish but it was a dandy. We threw everything we had at them. The one fish finally fell to a single worm dangled below a bobber. The fish finder was no help. It was full of fish but I didn’t even get a bite. My buddy won the day with this bruiser of a Rainbow Trout. Once the scale settled down it weighed in at 2 pounds 11 ounces. Great fish, lots of fight too.
It was great way to end the winter season. Great friends, great weather and 1 in the basket. Thank you Lord, for your blessings and sacrifice. Happy Easter.

I think if Timmy pulled a little harder on the tail that could have been a 3 pounder!

Just glad he finally found a razor, I've been telling old Santa Claus that Christmas has been over for a few months now.
