It was another beautiful day on Lake Chelan. We pounded away in the trench to get the Benson family their Lake Chelan Mackinaw. Karissa (9) and Taya (5) learned how to handle the rods really well. Dad, Eric was a great deckhand. We worked depths from 210 to 240 at speeds of 1.1 to 1.4 mph to trigger the bite. Silver Horde's Kingfisher Lite spoons in glow colors worked best. Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidder and Worden Lures F7 purple glow flatfish also garnered some bites. The key on this day was to find the fish concentrations and to keep turning on them.
