Tried "Jiggy's" lures today, WOW, they work. I caught over 50 crappies this morning, kept some to eat. I also caught 2 nice trout and a 12" bass. Contact Dave if you want to try any of his hand poured lures. I'll vouch for them.

Wow, Did you fish from the shore or from a boat? I tried fishing for crappie at pond 4 but no luck so far. Any tips?

hey Mark, get a hold of me and I'll take you out on the ponds. Maxxy, Gordy was fishing on the bank using a slip bobber and my 1.5" Nudge bug jig. You have to get out past the shore weeds to catch the crappie there. Email me and maybe we can hook up and fish the ponds brother. Jiggy

I don't know about that "hook up" part anymore, but if someone wants to go fishing, we're ready at almost all times. Jiggy's right, as he usually is about fishing, in contrast to almost everything else... Kidding. No, really.....
If you can't get past the weeds and straight down, then you will mostly get bluegill on this lake. It's not like the Basin lakes, or big reservoirs. Different tactics.

OK, I'll do that... Couple weeks, we'll head over... taxes and chores to catch up on..... Thanks for keeping the door open! Mark

The crappies move around, you have to "hunt" for them.
