Special thanks to Jerry Bradley for bringing out John Lopind and John Riley to fish with me. We pounded the 60 to 85 foot depths below Wapato Pt. for Kokanee. We once again fished Mack's Lures Orange Mini Cha Cha 16" behind a Double D Dodger. Today the landlocked sockeye preferred Red Pautzke's Fire Corn. Speeds of 1.2 to 1.4 mph worked best, although the varying wind made it difficult to maintain. Stacking lines 20 feet apart on the downriggers resulted in multiple doubes and a triple. The early bite was best, but we continued to snick them throughout the day. Just another beautiful day in paradise.
