On the water by 6:30 and left around 12, the temps were steady around 51-52. Caught 1 and had a few bites from others nothing of any size. All bites were on a wacky rig senko and the catch was on a shaky head with a robo worm. All the action was in 10-15ft of water.

After catching an 8 1/2 pounder, I am guessing that I will not see anything over a 3 star report from you for the rest of the year:)

And, I caught my one ounce shy of 8 pounds last year and every time I fish by that spot I think "Is today the day that that fish is back here?", yet, it never is:( Enjoy those thoughts for the next couple of years, lol.

Good job getting out there. I have yet gone to Tapps for the year and only been twice in my life but will get up there soon, I hope.
Was it windy and whitecappy?

Yeah after that pig it is going to be hard to match any trip this year! Every time I go by that same dock I am hoping and praying but no such luck haha. Today wasn't too bad, but you can get back into some of the coves when it is really windy and still fish. Tapps is just up the road from me so it works out great, only about 15 mins to the launch. Tapps is a crazy lake, structure all over it. I have been fishing all over on that thing trying to find some sweet spots but so far just a couple here and there. That of course has a lot to do with all the crappy weather...I can not wait for that water temp to start rising!!! Good luck out there!
